But I'd probably have to measure every fish below that to know if it's 12" or not. It's surprising that B.A.S.S. allows the exemption. I wonder why they do it.? I know that Florida have different regulations depending on where you are. @Jaskoh : Did you see what two fish Jason Quinn brought to the weigh-in too ? Over the weekend, I had 3 fishing friends confirm that B.A.S.S. does give a 12" exemption while fishing in Florida. Lame I was watching the weigh-ins live on the internet and I saw a 10 and 11 oz bass brought in by co-anglers. I don't know if I could of swallowed my pride and bring it to the scales. are you kidding me? when the fishing is tough, a 12 inch fish or 10 ounces could mean the difference between winning and losing. cashing a check or going home broke. i will swallow my pride every time when there is money on the line. you must not tournament fish with that statement. MaxDal Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 @bocabasser, I think he was referring to the fact that's it sort of useless to bring that sole micro-sized bass to the weigh-in if you know you're already out of contention. Like say, you're 15 pounds behind, and you just have one 11ozer to show. I guess, I would still show it, for the sake of tournament fishing .... and to give my friends something to have a good laugh about ! Quote

Yep. Funny thing is not all Florida anglers know the 22" rule. I haven't personally seen it, but I've heard of people being DQ'd for bringing too many 22" fish to the scales. DOH! ;D Quote

Prime example was Classic in Pittsburgh. If you caught 3 ,12 inch fish a day you woudld have been in the Super 6. Quote

There is no "swallowing pride" for the pros. Whats wrong with a 12 inch fish??? Its better than no fish, just ask Brian Snowden. Quote
