BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 14, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 14, 2008 Many of you don't know it, but our own Marcia Rubin is competing in the Women's Bassmaster Tour Championship next week. This is being held at the same time as the Classic, and the weigh-ins will be on the same stage. She's 1 of 12 pros battling for the $60,000 prize. GOOD LUCK MARCIA!! Quote

Super User fishfordollars Posted February 14, 2008 Super User Posted February 14, 2008 Good luck Quote
Olebiker Posted February 15, 2008 Posted February 15, 2008 If there is any justice in the world she might get a boat sponsor while she is there. I see she is still trying to sell her Walleye boat to buy a real bass boat. I live in Pam Martin-Wells territory so I am rooting for her as well as our Reelady. Quote
preach4bass Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Marcia is currently in 11th, but there are two days of fishing to go. Let's go reelady! Quote
Olebiker Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 I wonder if she got her boat running or was able to borrow one. Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Good luck Reelady! make ohio proud! Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 22, 2008 Super User Posted February 22, 2008 Last time the Reel Lady was in Texas, she had a nice wrap, nice bass boat. Whats the scoup on boat troubles? Good luck and go catch'em Marcia. Matt Quote
Olebiker Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 That wrapped boat was a loaner. She posted on Tuesday that she had electrical trouble with her boat and couldn't get out to practice. She hasn't updated her web page since then. Quote
jrhennecke Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 Looks like she moved up a few spots today, but she still has some work to do. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 23, 2008 Super User Posted February 23, 2008 I saw the boat she was in today. Looked like the boat to be in for cruising the lake in bad weather. Quote
Olebiker Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Her boat is a Ranger "walleye boat." Sounds like she got it fixed. She is trying to sell it to buy a real bass boat. Quote
BUCKEYEone Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 She is hoping her showing this weekend will bring in a sponsor to throw a boat her way. When her boat electronics went down she couldnt have the classic crew fix it because they dont have parts on hand for a walleye boat...bass boat parts only! until yesterday she didnt even have a loaner lined up, but she got hers fixed in time, luckily Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 23, 2008 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 23, 2008 We see her every day (her room is just a few doors down from us). She's disappointed with her showing so far, but is swinging for the fences tomorrow. Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 We're all behind you Marcia,....kick some BOOTY!!!! Quote
preach4bass Posted February 23, 2008 Posted February 23, 2008 Congratulations Marcia on your 9th place finish! It ain't first, but it's a lot better than 12,000+ of your BR Brethren Quote
