BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 21, 2008 BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 21, 2008 Thought I would show you a glimpse of the "behind the scenes" at the Bassmaster Classic: KVD Skeet Reese Casey Ashley Timmy Horton donated his hair to the Locks of Love program. Here's the shot just before they started cutting: Here's after: Mark Zona sat at our table: Jeff Kriet Gerald Swindle (that's Gary Klein in the background) Quote

clipper Posted February 21, 2008 Posted February 21, 2008 One of you guys need to loan Timmy Horton a good warm hat, even though he does look kinda warm inside. Anybody know if Locks of Love takes grey hair? I've always wanted an excuse to grow a ponytail. I would also save money on haircuts. 8-) Quote

CJ Posted February 22, 2008 Posted February 22, 2008 My eyes were opened to effective and efficient prefishing. Yeah, I would have loved to experience that. Sounds like you two are getting a great treat! CJ Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted February 22, 2008 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted February 22, 2008 My wow moment has something to do with a conversation between Ike and I. He approached me with an idea that would involve he and I at a later date on a project he's working on. I don't want to go into details yet, because it's just an idea at the moment, but it would be very cool if it happens. Had another 'wow' moment w/Mark Zona. He came up to us and said, "Hey guys, if there's anything I can do to help you guys, anything, you just let me know." That was totally unsolicited. I'm still stunned. Quote

Here's a shot of some of the boats before blast off this morning, followed by a few Ike pictures. There's better pictures and video of Ike, but I can't post them right now because they'd give away what he's doing. I took 117 pictures today. Quote
Super User Matt Fly Posted February 22, 2008 Super User Posted February 22, 2008 I'm glad we have our own coverage team on site to give us some details after ya'll get back. I would love to have some of that info on effective prefishing. I swear, Glenn looks as though he's a kid at Christmas opening presents. What a "Classic" smile. No pun intended. Fluke, thanks for the appetizers, can't wait for the full meal deal. Quote
