BillyBob Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Has anyone heard that Triton's out of the B.A.S.S. major sponsor role in the elites and opens for more grass root programs like ABA and Weekend Series? Quote
Super User Tin Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 I'm assuming they will keep them and Mercury though? Any new sponsers coming in? Quote
Low_Budget_Hooker Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 Didn't Wolfenden just win a Triton at the ABA finals? ps Mike- He's selling the one he has now, keeping the new one Quote
Super User fishfordollars Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 Havn't heard that yet. It's possible, they are closing their plant in Mississippi the first of the year. If it is true I might look at a Triton when I get ready for my next one. I am sick of the boat deals and how you have to be the owner of a late model to gather in any of the prize money. i know why it is that way, but you would think that they would like someone winning money out of an older boat to show the durability of their models. They are not on our side, just the people that will fork out the 40,000 or so for one of their newer models. I own an older Skeeter and a Triton that is 7 years old and both are still very good boats. Just hate the fact that they require it to be three years or less in order to qualify for the extra money. Super User Matt Fly Posted November 30, 2007 Super User Posted November 30, 2007 BassCat is coming to the Big Show!!!!!! I have heard this one alot lately. Quote
Super User 5bass Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 BassCat is coming to the Big Show!!!!!! I have heard this one alot lately. That would make sense since they sponsor the BASS poster boy....I hope not but it could happen. Quote
frogtog Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Earl Benz is a very smart guy. He knows were the bread and butter is. They do more selling on the local level than touring with the pro's. Triton has signed a long contract to sponsor the ABA for the next several years. I don't quite like the new Black Gold. This cuts down on my potential winnings seeing that my boat is a 05. But I can still be happy with less contingency money. Quote
Super User Tin Posted December 1, 2007 Super User Posted December 1, 2007 Need new truck first Russ : The Power Ranger wont tow or stop a 21' stratos BassCat would be nice, best boat on the market imo. 5BL dont be hatin', lol. The posterboy is good for bass fishing, sur ehe does stupid things for attention. But he is breaking the stereotypes and attracting a new fanbase. Quote
TR21Lay Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 fishfordollars, Triton gold pays off on up to a ten old year boat. It's more for a two year or newer, but they are the only one that pays on older models that I know of. Quote
