Ok we are beginning september soon and I thought i would take a little survey I guess just to see what people thought and what the most common answer is.

Q: If you were forced for the entire month of september to only use one bait. That means one color, one way of rigging it, same type of worm if (thats the choice), etc., everything exactly the same! for the entire month which bait would you use?

List as many details as you can, and maybe even why!

This should be interesting,

Thanks, Michael

A wacky rigged finesse worm, color does not matter. I don't need to be forced to do so as I fish that way anytime the water temp is above 43 degrees. Why?, because it works.

It's not what "would" it be,...it's what WILL it be?  :)

It may be that I'm still a newb. But I know the one bait that catches me fish every time Im out...

5" Trick Stick, T-rigged, Weightless... ;) one color though? I have recently had about the same success on Smoke Red, Watermelon Candy, and Green Pumpkin/Chartreuse Laminate. (The three colors I own :))

These have landed me all sizes (including my PB) of bass lately in a variety of ponds and rivers. And since I'm still young at fishing I love to catch any size fish. I haven't done any big lake fishing in a while, though.

remington 870

Dove season starting 1st, bunch of other seasons starting 13th my fishing poles will be getting used alot less. If I do fish it will be with top waters cause as it gets cooler out I can get bass on top water all day and it has started to cool for the year. Plus they are fun. I'll also use plastics cause they catch the most fish but if I was going to use one lure I think I'd try a devils horse.

1/4 stick of Dynamite!!!  Wait, did that just come out??  Seriously, do not know what you are talking about.... I do not have any dynamite, that stuff is dangerous...... nope not me, besides, it is illegal.  What do you mean you found blasting caps in my tackle box......I protest,  that is an illegal search.. those caps are for shaping my charges, I mean lures. :);)

Since when are salty trick worms a secret.  A secret would be carolina rigging a crankbait like i did all summer and tore them up at 35 feet deep on a dd 22.  Well even that aint a secret but not many use it and i prefer it over a carolina rigged plastic now.  I love crankbaits and i think fall is the best time to throw crankbaits bass are going after baitfish as always and heavily.  Shallow runners work in about the same spots as spinnerbaits and this time of year most are throwing spinnerbaits.  So i would have to pick a crank or maybe a swimbait, if LBH convinces me  ;D
