Super User Long Mike Posted August 26, 2009 Super User Posted August 26, 2009 Thanks Bobby. I think because I was the person who originally set aside all the rooms, the park is occasionally sending erroneous room confirmations to me. I'll straighten that out tomorrow. Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted August 26, 2009 Super User Posted August 26, 2009 Greg, have Deb buy a hard-hat also. In that environment, one spark could blow the walls out. ;D Quote
BassResource.com Administrator Glenn Posted August 26, 2009 Author BassResource.com Administrator Posted August 26, 2009 Keri and I have a cabin - well away from the blast zone. : We are flying in, so no boat. We are considering NOT renting a boat this time for a change, so we're looking for open backseats. Of course we will share expenses. Quote

Super User Long Mike Posted August 26, 2009 Super User Posted August 26, 2009 All of my research indicates that no bass boats are available for rental. You can rent a house boat, or a pontoon boat or a jet ski, but, with one exception, that's it. The exception is that the marina at the lodge has four Jon boats with 9.5 hp engines available for rent on a first come, first served basis. i.e. you can't reserve them in advance. Quote

Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted August 27, 2009 Super User Posted August 27, 2009 For the record, I fight dirty. ;D Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted August 27, 2009 Super User Posted August 27, 2009 This is the 5th Annual Roadtrip and we haven't had a problem with seating yet. When we get closer we will have a pretty good idea of exactly where we stand. The bottom line is, we'll make it happen...No one will be left behind. 8-) Quote
Super User CWB Posted August 27, 2009 Super User Posted August 27, 2009 For the record, I fight dirty. ;D I'm from Chicago. Dirty fighting is second nature here. First we have to make sure Mike doesn't bring his boat and if he does, I call shotgun the first day. I think only one of us will make it back due to hitting a big wave the wrong way. Like Thunderdome. 2 men enter, 1 man leaves. (Hopefully with shirt in hand) Anyway, I shouldn't let Leo know this, as he seems to have something going on with Muddy, but the Cabins don't have locks and from what I hear, Mike is not a light sleeper. Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted August 28, 2009 Super User Posted August 28, 2009 1. I'm bringing my boat. 2. As the Master of the vessel, I decide who rides shotgun. 3. The shirt will not be in my possession. For the duration of my trip, it will be sealed securely in a Mason jar on Funk and Wagnall's back porch. Quote
