Nah, if you hang around red headed people long enough, you get to see them throw their reels in the lake, break their carrot sticks over their knees, basically throw temper tantrums on the back deck of your boat, lol

Well just found out my bass club here in Southern IL is having our annual club trip to Paris Landing on KY Lake on May 1 and 2nd. So I guess I'll be going to that and then on the evening of the 2nd head on down to Pickwick. Will there be anything scheduled on the day of the 2nd I might missed? I had thought about heading down a day early to Pickwick to see some of the Bass event but oh well. KY lake around the spawn out to be pretty awesome again!

Long Mike, will "the helmet" be making the trip with you this year?

Yes, if I don't forget it like I did last year.  Just so I don't, I think I'll put it in the truck today.   ;D

I just looked up Pickwick Landing on Yahoo Map. It struck me funny that down stream from the dam is Kentucky "Lake", and upstream from the dam is Tennessee "River".

Technically, all the reservoirs on the river start

below the dam that creates the upstream lake.

Locals refer to the tailwaters of every dam as

the "Tennessee River".

For those who imbibe, I have a new concoction I will be bringing with me.

It involves grain....

Thank you Wayne.

Long Mike and I will not be participating in "grain".

He likes grapes, and in May, I like juniper berries.

Grain huh?  Probably better keep that stuff away from me.  The last time grain was involved I woke up in the nude the next morning.  (long story)   ;D

Trust me....You'll all try it.

Kent and Mike, I know you will have a difficult time thinking "out of the Franzia box" but I assure you, this stuff is pure gold... ;D

Jimzee..if you decide to stay in my cabin I may have to ban you from the grain....

Anyway it looks like I will be driving down by myself. If anyway is coming thru hagerstown maryland or along the way we can share a ride.

I also might be riding down solo. I talked to Bass- Fisherman ( ANDY) a couple days ago on the phone first time I talked to him in a while. He said he's going to try and make down with me again this year. We'll see.

Wayne last time I had grain was when I was doing a job down Kentucky. A guy I was working with brought it from home. It was GOOD fun night but a BAD day the next day.

;D

Oh, believe me....I know its powers all to well.

This drink is not something you sit around and get toasted on, but more along the lines of something you would toast with....

No one will get out of hand, I promise....
