Pitchinkid Posted December 1, 2009 Posted December 1, 2009 So i guess im Scott Farcus. Awesome . So is Blaine Grover Gill. This coming from a duo that looks like Master Blaster from MAD MAX Quote
Mr Jenkins Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 I hope i dont get diarrhea from hanging around Scutt I hear redheads can spread it from just being in the same room. Quote
I Love BassResource Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Nah, if you hang around red headed people long enough, you get to see them throw their reels in the lake, break their carrot sticks over their knees, basically throw temper tantrums on the back deck of your boat, lol Quote
Simp Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Well just found out my bass club here in Southern IL is having our annual club trip to Paris Landing on KY Lake on May 1 and 2nd. So I guess I'll be going to that and then on the evening of the 2nd head on down to Pickwick. Will there be anything scheduled on the day of the 2nd I might missed? I had thought about heading down a day early to Pickwick to see some of the Bass event but oh well. KY lake around the spawn out to be pretty awesome again! Quote

I Love BassResource Posted December 2, 2009 Posted December 2, 2009 Hush, I'm well aware you have no feelings... Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 4, 2009 Super User Posted December 4, 2009 Long Mike, will "the helmet" be making the trip with you this year? Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 4, 2009 Super User Posted December 4, 2009 Long Mike, will "the helmet" be making the trip with you this year? Yes, if I don't forget it like I did last year. Just so I don't, I think I'll put it in the truck today. ;D Quote
steveb1 Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 I just looked up Pickwick Landing on Yahoo Map. It struck me funny that down stream from the dam is Kentucky "Lake", and upstream from the dam is Tennessee "River". Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 4, 2009 Super User Posted December 4, 2009 Technically, all the reservoirs on the river start below the dam that creates the upstream lake. Locals refer to the tailwaters of every dam as the "Tennessee River". 8-) Quote
Mr Jenkins Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 im thinking the bubblegum frog bite should be on Quote
Pitchinkid Posted December 7, 2009 Posted December 7, 2009 im thinking the bubblegum frog bite should be on LOL Yep. Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 8, 2009 Super User Posted December 8, 2009 For those who imbibe, I have a new concoction I will be bringing with me. It involves grain.... Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 If one imbibes, would he be called an imbibicil? Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 Thank you Wayne. Long Mike and I will not be participating in "grain". He likes grapes, and in May, I like juniper berries. : Quote
Super User Jimzee Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 Grain huh? Probably better keep that stuff away from me. The last time grain was involved I woke up in the nude the next morning. (long story) ;D Quote
I Love BassResource Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 If your partake in the grain, I'm locking my cabin door..... Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 Trust me....You'll all try it. Kent and Mike, I know you will have a difficult time thinking "out of the Franzia box" but I assure you, this stuff is pure gold... ;D Quote
Super User BrianinMD Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 Jimzee..if you decide to stay in my cabin I may have to ban you from the grain.... Anyway it looks like I will be driving down by myself. If anyway is coming thru hagerstown maryland or along the way we can share a ride. Quote
simplejoe Posted December 9, 2009 Posted December 9, 2009 I also might be riding down solo. I talked to Bass- Fisherman ( ANDY) a couple days ago on the phone first time I talked to him in a while. He said he's going to try and make down with me again this year. We'll see. Wayne last time I had grain was when I was doing a job down Kentucky. A guy I was working with brought it from home. It was GOOD fun night but a BAD day the next day. ;D Quote
Super User SPEEDBEAD. Posted December 9, 2009 Super User Posted December 9, 2009 Oh, believe me....I know its powers all to well. This drink is not something you sit around and get toasted on, but more along the lines of something you would toast with.... No one will get out of hand, I promise.... Quote
Super User firefightn15 Posted December 10, 2009 Super User Posted December 10, 2009 If I didn't know better, I would think you were talking about George Dickel 8-) Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted December 10, 2009 Super User Posted December 10, 2009 Brian, I'm thinking he's talking about pure grain. Quote
