Bass XL Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Watermelon. It catches fish anywhere. Black is a close second. Quote
Cyork Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Watermelon, smoke, any kind of brown (or pumpkinseed) and I usually carry some brighter ones like salt/ pepper or chartreuse if the water is really murky or when fishing in low light conditions. Quote

dman Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Watermellon But, i recently picked up a pack of Zoom 3 1\2" tubes and the color looks like sand = tan....The smallies were crushing it one day and not touching the watermellon Quote
basser89 Posted August 26, 2008 Posted August 26, 2008 Depends on the situation. I tend to try to match the bottom as close as I can for the clear water situations I usually fish. Watermelon/red flake, watermelon/chart tail and watermelon seed for most grass situations. Roadkill, green pumpkin/red flake for rocky areas. In darker water, black/red flake, black/blue tail and junebug. Quote
