luvfishing Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 What is the best way to fish these? Sometimes i fish them as a buzzbait,or i'll hop them accross the pads. Bet have had no luck either way Quote
joez2872-ct Posted August 10, 2008 Posted August 10, 2008 i fish them alot ,just buzz it across the top when u hit a open pockect of water slow down and twitch it ,,,,i sumtimes let it sink down a little then twitch Quote
Super User Marty Posted August 11, 2008 Super User Posted August 11, 2008 I don't know the "best" way, but I fish them as a buzzbait almost all of the time, just letting them sink when there's evidence of a fish present. For actual subsurface fishing, I prefer other plastics. If you haven't had any action it's likely you haven't been using it in the right place at the right time. The Ribbit and other buzzing amphibians are very good fish attractors. Quote
Super User Catt Posted August 11, 2008 Super User Posted August 11, 2008 By no means at all ever use them as a jig trailer cause you might get your rod broke Quote
bass wrangler569 Posted August 11, 2008 Posted August 11, 2008 I fish them mostly as buzzbaits. I especially like using the black ribbits at night. I'll also use them as jig trailers occasionally. Quote
