snapper G Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 for all yall that have them, could you get out a ruler and measure them? how long's the body and how longs the legs, both jr. model and the original model? thanks!! Quote
KevO Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Well I'm too lazy to go out to the garage and measure it but, I just used the dean rojas frog, so I will give an estimate. The body is about an inch and a half and the legs are about 3 in. So I would say in the 5 in range. These are great baits I caught two nice lmb in 30 min tonight with this bait. Quote
snapper G Posted August 12, 2008 Author Posted August 12, 2008 you sure it's only an 1 1/2" thats really small, i was thinking it would be at lest 2" Quote
KevO Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 I'm pretty sure, the legs are what give it the length. Maybe an inch and 3/4 Quote
Bass XL Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 Brand new, I'd say it is about 4 1/2 inches. The legs are made very long so you can customize them to your needs. Quote
Micropterus salmoides Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 According to Tackle Warehouse the Frog 65 is 2.5" and the Frog Jr. 60 is 2.4". I'm assuming that is just the body because they are longer with the legs. And no way is the body alone 1.5". Quote
avid Posted August 12, 2008 Posted August 12, 2008 According to Tackle Warehouse the Frog 65 is 2.5" and the Frog Jr. 60 is 2.4". Seems odd don't it? Most "smaller" size baits of the same design have more than a .1" difference. Is it narrower also? I suppose they know what they are doing, but it still seems strange to me. I mean how many bass are going to pass up on one bait but not another because of a 1/10" difference in size? Quote
snapper G Posted August 14, 2008 Author Posted August 14, 2008 thanks avid, I also put out a poll asking which one is better, Jr. or 65, and and i got the 65 having one more vote than Jr. so i think I'm get that one! Quote
