Super User J Francho Posted March 14, 2011 Super User Posted March 14, 2011 Perfect flow today, but low numbers. I did help a guy land a nice 27" fish. I went three for four hookups, and only got caught in the lumber twice, LOL. I did end up slipping and landing flat on my back, in current. God bless my Frogg Toggs waders, LOL. Good times, but I'm sore, and somehow tore off half my thumbnail in the fall! Some pics, by my friend Scott. Think he wanted that bait? Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted March 14, 2011 Super User Posted March 14, 2011 What a beautiful fish! You should make a video while fishing. Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted March 14, 2011 Super User Posted March 14, 2011 Gorgeous fish. He sucked down that bait didn't he. Thats quite a beard you've grown in over the winter, Francho. How "Most Interesting Man In The World" of you. Quote

Luke at Gouldsboro Posted March 14, 2011 Posted March 14, 2011 wow, awesome fish. My biggest trout was 15 inches. I'd love to land one that big. Quote
Super User J Francho Posted March 14, 2011 Author Super User Posted March 14, 2011 This one is a dink. my biggest this winter was 31" long, and 21.25 in girth. Sometime VERY SOON, the big ones will be running up the creeks. I'll be waiting....... Quote

Super User clayton86 Posted March 15, 2011 Super User Posted March 15, 2011 very nice I'm hoping to get on the oak or johnson's this week but its gonna be a tough choice shoulder to shoulder trout fishing or go for some bass in the lake above the dams on the oak and Johnson's creek decisions decisions. northern basser Posted March 15, 2011 Posted March 15, 2011 Our trout opener is in a month. I'm already getting impatient. It's been a long winter and we need some more snow to disappear. Quote
