bowfish12 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 I use red/white, red/chart., blue/white, and black chart. These are the colors that consistently do good for me. Quote
Super User KYntucky Warmouth Posted November 12, 2010 Super User Posted November 12, 2010 pearl white, white/black flake, and white/blue flake Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted November 12, 2010 Super User Posted November 12, 2010 I use white on white! Sometimes I might throw white! But then again, I'm partial to white! Quote
tholmes Posted November 16, 2010 Posted November 16, 2010 My most productive colors have been plain white, white w/ hot pink head, chatreuse, and black. Some days, they'll hit anything you throw at 'em and other days they get real picky. I carry a good assortment of colors just to cover as many bases as possible. Tom Quote
CoBass Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 White body with any colored head. I prefer red, but the crappie in the lake I fish aren't too picky as long as the body's white. Tight Lines...CoBass Quote
fisher of bass Posted December 1, 2010 Posted December 1, 2010 i went fishing in the freezing cold sunday and caught one crappie on a series3 crank, my buddy marked 7-8 huge schools of big fish we threw everything at them and nothing, could someone post some pictures of what types of jigs and trailers one might use to catch these tasty little morsals. also any other lures you have caught crappie on. i have no intention in taking over this thread so i apoligize if i did.......tia Quote
farmpond1 Posted December 2, 2010 Posted December 2, 2010 Chartreuse or chartreuse and black marabou jigs can really mop them up in the Spring around here. But I'd buy several in an assortment of colors. They aren't that pricey and if you fish near trees, you're bound to lose some. Quote
roper500 Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 if it is cold minners!!!!! they always eat them best. Quote
