I use white on white! Sometimes I might throw white!  But then again, I'm partial to white!

My most productive colors have been plain white,  white w/ hot pink head, chatreuse, and black.

Some days, they'll hit anything you throw at 'em and other days they get real picky. I carry a good assortment of colors just to cover as many bases as possible.

White body with any colored head. I prefer red, but the crappie in the lake I fish aren't too picky as long as the body's white. Tight Lines...CoBass

i went fishing in the freezing cold sunday and caught one crappie on a series3 crank, my buddy marked 7-8 huge schools of big fish we threw everything at them and nothing, could someone post some pictures of what types of jigs and trailers one might use to catch these tasty little morsals.

also any other lures you have caught crappie on.

i have no intention in taking over this thread so i apoligize if i did.......tia

Chartreuse or chartreuse and black marabou jigs can really mop them up in the Spring around here. But I'd buy several in an assortment of colors. They aren't that pricey and if you fish near trees, you're bound to lose some.

I crappie fish often,once the weather turns colder.My favorite colors are the pink panther,electric chicken,blue thunder and cajun cricket.They are all the bobby garland brand i belive.

For me chart always seems to work best followed by white.
