Yum.........yesterdays limit, through the ice of course. No giants, but all good eating size.

I really should try ice fishing...  :(

If only the ice was thick enough to walk on where I am.

That's great news. Looks like I'll have to bundle up and go fishing then. :)

I went out to Matt's pond yesterday-thinking it would be thick.  Unfortunately, it was only around 2 inches and I had to abandon my quest.  It might've been thicker elsewhere but I didn't try-I don't care to venture out where it isn't uniformly 3 inches or more.

I am heading back out there today, freezer is full..................for now, so back down the hole they go.

Nice catch !

The good thing about Tennessee is that we're a bit warmer than you guys up north and our open water season lasts a bit longer than yours. The bad thing is that we do get ice-over on the lakes...or periodic ice-out but with water temps in the 30s...but the ice is NEVER thick enough to safely walk on so ice-fishing isn't a remedy for cabin fever here. :-/
