Cat fishing gift/question

My brother-in-law resides in Lynchburg, Virginia.  He is an avid cat fisherman.  I on the other hand am a bass man.  All I know about cat fishing is stink bait. 

I'd like to get him a nice Christmas gift related to cat fishing.  Can anyone help?  Are there any good tackle stores in Lynchburg that I could contact?  Your advice is appreciated.
