WhiskeyMan Posted October 24, 2010 Posted October 24, 2010 My buddy caught what appears to be a pickerel this afternoon. Unfortunately, when I lifted it out of the water, we got like 15 seconds and it wiggled off the hook and hit the water (Note to self: ALWAYS hold them over the boat). Didn't get a pic. As we were loading the boat, I got to talking to another guy. He is local and said that are pickerel there. New one me. Now I have to catch one for myself. : Quote

Can't argue there since 36" would break the world record. ;D Quote
WhiskeyMan Posted October 26, 2010 Author Posted October 26, 2010 Quote Chain Pickerel range throughout the state of Mississippi. You learn something new every day. Never seen one before. I always thought they were cold water fish. Quote

I used to catch them when I was a teenager in Florida. Quote
