I caught a 25 pound flathead while bass fishing too. Awesome on medium action baitcast gear huh? I have yet to catch one larger on my dedicated flathead rig with a Penn Peer 209 reel and heavy Rhino Kevlar rod.

that is olathe lake. ive never fished for them out there either.
