Bernie Mac Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 Well, on my way to Fort Sam Houston,TX from Fort Drum, NY I stopped in Pensacola, FL to visit my parents. Went fishing with my uncle today and went to the pass just out from NAS and got hooked into a couple of King Mackrel. My uncled got spooled and had his leader snapped off, man that was terrible. I lost two but we ended up landing these right here. Quote
LCpointerKILLA Posted July 24, 2009 Posted July 24, 2009 ROCK ON MAN. Kings are so fun. And theres no need for that long engine run. Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted July 25, 2009 Super User Posted July 25, 2009 Nice looking kings, I do my fair share of fishing for them. Cutoff from kings are common place, they may even go after a swivel on your leader. Probably get cut off 6-8 times on each each outing, using steel leaders will decrease your strikes. Quote
Bernie Mac Posted July 26, 2009 Author Posted July 26, 2009 We were both using steel leaders...his probably needed to be changed though. Quote
