hey guys, i just bought some gammy spinnerbait trailer hooks and it came with 6 hooks, 1 plastic tube and NO instructions...

could anyone enlighten me on how to properly rig the trailer hooks?

Fist of all take that tube and sove it up................. OOPS. Wrong tube. lol

Cut the tube into 1/8th inch peices. You use the peices to help keep the hook on the spinnerbait. There are two ways to put it on.

1. Put a peice of the tube over the eye of the trailer hook and then stick it on the spinnerbait.

2. Put the trailer hook on the spinnerbait and then put the peice of tube on the spinnerbait hook.

For what it's worth, I use method #2 because I have more confidence when the trailer hook swings freely.

Ditto, go with #2. The #1 option can impede the action of the spinnerbait if the trailer hook is off center and the tubing holds it in place (acting like a rudder)

THANKS SO MUCH FOR THE LATE NIGHT HELP!!!

I put a trailer hook on my spinner bait and caught this big fish today...

i didnt want to hold it up by its lip only cause it was too big... and im squishing its tummy.. but its the biggest bass I have ever seen in person..

caught it on the trailer hook.. dont know how much it weighed but it was heavy
