way Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 Hey guys, im going to walmart to pick up some spinning rooster tail lure for trout fishing tomorrow and i was wondering what colors do you think works the best? I've use the green color one that worked pretty good before. Anyone have any good advice? oh yah local lakes in Los angeles stocked trouts this week. thx Quote
hawgchaser Posted October 23, 2008 Posted October 23, 2008 I have always used white. I have also used a few different color panther martins. Quote
simplejoe Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I used white ones with a chrome spinner and also used a black one with a gold with green glitter on a the spinner. I also had good luck with trout magnet baits. These baits do work as I mentioned but some of my best trout fishing has been with live wax worms or fly fishing. joe Quote
Ultraman Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 i've had the most success with the black roostertail 1/8 or 1/6 oz works well for me Quote
