BassinWill301 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I went down to a local stream to see if I could catch some fish out of it. I never see anyone fish it, but I went and tried anyway. I caught 5 fish in total, two were regular bluegill, but I am not sure about the other three. I believe they are red breast sunfish, and a pumpkinseed? I believe these are the red breast sunfish I believe this is the pumpkin seed? Quote
Super User .dsaavedra. Posted October 14, 2008 Super User Posted October 14, 2008 all 3 are redbreast sunfish. did you get those out of macintosh run? Quote
BassinWill301 Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Yeah I got them out of macintosh run. Quote
Andrew Coleman Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 almost look lik an orange spotted sunfish. except for the gill spot dosny have a white margin Quote
Super User Dan: Posted October 27, 2008 Super User Posted October 27, 2008 Yup, redbreasts. You can tell by the extended tab on the gill plate. Green sunfish look similar but don't have that extended tab. They are some of the most beautiful fish you can catch. Quote
