Just wondering what the biggest freshwater fish you guys have ever caught is? Also what is the fish that you have caught that you are the most prowd of? Most likely they are the same fish but maybe not. Also if you have a pit please post it for us all to see. Mine would be this huge 34 inch carp I caught probably about 4 years ago when I was a junior in high school. It is also the fish in my lifetime I am the most prowd of since it is the biggest. Post your biggest fish picture guys :)

caught this fish when i was a senior in high school, I know what people think about snakehead fish. I caught this fish in a different country, not the in U.S. The most surprising thing about this fish is it can jump like saltwater fish, tarpon . I caught one 8lb snakehead that jumped up to 2-3feet out of the water. It's really amazing animal, that most fisherman know little about. Also personal best of 10lb northern snakehead, 13lb largemouth bass, 4lb chain pickerel, 15lb channel catfish, 15lb smallmouth buffalo,23lb common carp,2lb rainbow trout,8lb orange koi and 3ft freshwater eel.

mine would have to be a 36.5 inch muskie i caught on light tackle with 6lb XL while walleye fishing....man what a fight!..it hit a 10" walleye i was reeling in....when i finally landed it the walleye was all mangled and dangling on my line and 1/8 oz jighead was actually hooked in the corner of the muskies mouth...all the people who were fishing in this bridge area all gathered round to see what was going on..it was pretty cool...only got one pic and its a crappy one...then i thanked her and let her go..i know the pic is terrible but you get the idea

Great topic!

My biggest fish is a 38 inch pike that i caught from Presque bay while bass fishing.  He bit my flashminnow abd put up a great fight!

The fish that I am most proud of... hmmm... Its got to be my personal best bass, a 5.3 lb. Smallie that came from the same place as my pike, on the same lure.

I'm not sure weight wise what is my biggest, but this is definitely my longest. I got it last month.

My biggest freshwater fish was a 19" Bass, not sure on the weight. Maybe 2-3 pounds. I have not done much freshwater fishing until this year. My biggest saltwater fish was a 60" Wahoo that went 40 pounds. Big for me but small considering a woman caught one weighing over 75 to 80 pounds the following week on the same charter boat I was on.

So far I've caught a 2 lb 15 oz smallie the other day(my profile pic) that I'm most proud of because I had to flip it over a tree in the middle of a river mouth I was fishing to land the fish after it had taken the jitterbug. My biggest is a 3 lb 7 oz Largie that I did not have a camera for, just a scale.

Just started fishing for bass this summer in the beginning of July, so I know they are not monsters. Not bad for NH though.

My largest is a 10 lb channel cat (i've had a couple 30 lb blue catfish but i was fishing for bass when they hit and i only had a 8 lb test line which broke).

My most proud fish is a 7 lb largemouth bass i caught up in wisconsin.

My biggest was an 8ft sturgeon.  300lbs roughly.  Off the bank, 15ft 50lb rated rod, Daiwa X50HV, 40lb test Big Game.   Pretty spectacular when they jump. Fairly common catching these big hogs.   Got some pics around here and will have to figure out how to post them.

my biggest fish is a 38" carp that i caught on a breadball off a dock at my grandparents old house on a canal. that thing almost pulled me off the dock! my mom and grandma were holding me on the dock!!! unfortunatley, i have no picture of it. i did get a picture, but its horrible, because it was so heavy i couldnt hold the net, and the fish was still in the net,  on the ground beside me...so you cant see the fish.

HOWEVER the fish im most proud of is this MONSTER 7lb largemouth that i caught in spring '07 during the spawn:

In the begining of the year I caught this 32 & 1/4 inches long (no scale :( ). LMB on a live blue gill. I was alone and couldn't get the camara positioned correctly to get the whole fish and this horrible picture is all I have to show for it. I still see her every once in awhlie cruising the lake and have re caught her twice since but both tlme she shook off the hook before I had her up to shore. :'( She is thinner now after she spawned but she still a biggy!
