I've only used horny toads, and that's what i have been having my fiance fish with and it works really well for her, the only problem is that they tear up so fast, i didn't know if the rage tail was any stronger, I've also heard that they have a better action.

I don't fish frogs that often, as I prefer buzzbaits.  That was until I fished the Rage Tail.  Absolutely amazing.

my preference wasn't on there!   >:(

Hey Brent, the option kinda gave Rage Tail an unfair advantage too, cause the Shad and Toad are teaming up on the Horny Toad. I guess we might as well throw in the Rage Tail Craw and chunks too.    ;D

if it's got 'floppy feet' and used for topwater, i say yes!

;D

How about floppy claws and used as topwater, will that do it ?   ;)

i really like the horny toad. i put em in boilin water for about a min. or so, gives the legs better action. horny is my back up for my ragetail shads, can retrieve it at same speed but is more subtle than that of the RT shad. great for more finicky topwater bite, atleast imo.

i have never used either but if i were shopping for frogs i'd buy *** strokin' toads first (40-50 cents each, depending on how much you buy), then horny toads (about 63 cents a piece). rage tail's cost a dollar a piece, thats simply too much for me to pay for plastics.

Out of the two, I pick Zooms... More subtle, and they have that crazy 'glide' when you stop reeling.

I prefer to use the Gambler Cane Toad or the Sizmic Toad over both, though.
