bchlr Posted July 28, 2008 Posted July 28, 2008 Any proven plastic in any proven color (natural) (as long as it's from a company I respect) It's not the car, it's the driver. I second that sometimes road conditions do matter, but well... Quote

Super User FishTank Posted July 28, 2008 Super User Posted July 28, 2008 5in Senko Black with Blue Flakes..... Quote
Primus Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 It would be impossible for me to pick one, but I'll go with a Green Pumpkin Trick worm because it'll produce anyway you fish it. My favorite mid summer worm would be the 10" Berkely Ribbon tail, though I'm intriqued by the Anaconda. Quote
Brian_Reeves Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 No fair Brian, you gotta pick somthin' else, the Rage Anacondas aren't even on the market yet. :'(Big O lol. if that's the case, then I won't fish worms at all until they are ;D. Them craws work good. So that's my favorite lol Quote
Fishing Doug Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 If I had to pick one----> trick worm. color? surprise me. every color I have used has produced for me. Quote
Blue Streak Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Berkley Power Worms in just about any size, junebug, camo, black and blue rigged Texas or Carolina style. They have been very productive for years. Quote
Blue Streak Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 10 inch rage tail anaconda in watermelon w/red & black on a 3/8oz tungsten texas rig on braided line. I won't buy another worm other than Anacondas (both sizes, various colors) ever again. I'm sold. This is starting to sound like the Roland Martin show. ;D Quote
Jim McC Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Who makes the trick worm? I've never seen it. Quote

The_Natural Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Hands down Gary Yamamoto's 8" grub. Sure he calls it a grub, but it is just a big worm. This thing is fat and has a ridiculous amount of salt; salt content so high if you nick the bait it will turn whitish colored on the spot where you grazed it. The pumpkin (orange) with black and green flake is a secret weapon of mine...it kills! Especially in the spring. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted July 29, 2008 Super User Posted July 29, 2008 I love/hate that dirt. Quote
Super User MALTESE FALCON Posted July 29, 2008 Super User Posted July 29, 2008 *** 7" Ripper Worm in Red Shad. I like the bulkier profile, plus they last forever. Falcon Quote
Goggle Eyes Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 I'm surprised to see only one mention for Culprit....I'll double that. Their 7.5" electric blue original worm works for me when others arent producing. Quote

basspimple Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 black power worms used to be dynamite for me, havnt got a single fish on em this year :'( oh well, found a new love, ***, 5 in, wm. weightless tex., wacky rig with gammy 3/0 finnesse hook. Quote
Uncle Leo Posted July 29, 2008 Posted July 29, 2008 Chompers, PB and J, Sinking Stick Worm, Garlic scent makes me and the Bass hungry. Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted July 29, 2008 Super User Posted July 29, 2008 My choice would be a 7" Powerworm in Blue Fleck. But....if you have never fished a Producto 4" Tournament worm on a 1/8 oz Snagless Slider you are missing out on something big. For you Slider fans, DO try this rig. The action on the fall is simply stunning. When the fish are on outside weedline and neutral in mood at best, this will pick them off. I've tried lots of other worms on the Slider and nothing comes close to these Producto's. The Snagless Slider and Producto 4" Tournament worm is a match made in heaven! Quote
Certified Public Angler Posted July 30, 2008 Posted July 30, 2008 6 inch Senko Watermelon red flake, no doubt. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted July 30, 2008 Super User Posted July 30, 2008 6 inch Senko Watermelon red flake, no doubt. Well, in an earlier post on this thread, this a question I alluded to. Most of us consider a Senko a different class lure, a "stick bait". If the Senko were considered a "worm", then I agree. The 6" Senko is my all-time #1 bait. 8-) Quote

WIII-60 Posted July 30, 2008 Author Posted July 30, 2008 I agree with RW about the senko being considered a "stick bait" but, I didn't want the thread to become a discussion over that. Quote
