rrttggyy Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 Each year during the Fall Season, massive schools of peanut bunker, on thier migration to the south, leave the rivers and bays, invading the New Jersey beaches. I am not sure if this is an East Coast thing or if it's just a Jersey thing. Striped bass and other gamefish take advantage of this easy meal and beef up close to our shores. It's a great time to catch both the fish and the Free Live Bait! Quote
Super User Sam Posted October 22, 2007 Super User Posted October 22, 2007 Sounds good to me but I live in Virginia and do not do much, if any, saltwater fishing. I know that this is stripper time in the Garden State so have fun catching those beautiful big fish. Quote
slomoe Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 LBH recently posted a video of these big schools, check it out. Cool stuff. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1190028725 Quote
