NCthompson Posted June 15, 2007 Posted June 15, 2007 Anyone here been catching any bowfin? I have caught 2 the past couple of days on plastic lizards and thats all I could catch. I was hoping itd be a bass, but the only good thing is that I now know I can catch something with a lizard. Quote

skillet Posted September 21, 2007 Posted September 21, 2007 The only time I've caught one was back when I was a young boy cane pole fishing for Bream with my Father. They put up quite a battle and on a skinny piece of bamboo you thought Moby Dick just did a belly-flop next to the boat. I found a website where folks were trying to catch them. I've never known anyone catching one except when they were fishing for something else... As Ever, skillet Quote
