ewokmonsta720 Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 White Perch (Morone americana) closely related to the sea bass family. It was originally native to coastal waters along the entire eastern sea board then was introduced into inland waters. White perch are very tasty. Fillet them like you would any panfish. Quote
Mepps Posted September 25, 2007 Posted September 25, 2007 No offense man, how have you been fishing since age 8 and not be able to identify a white perch? :'( On the other hand, I've noticed you have a knack for catching some nice smallies up there in Philly Quote
Del from philly Posted September 26, 2007 Author Posted September 26, 2007 Iv never seen a white perch, thats why...... some guys told me they were getting walleyes their, so i assumed thats what it was...... thanks for the smallie comment, not a nack though, only got 3 smallies all year Quote
