tallydude Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I've never caught one so let me know if you need help. Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted August 30, 2007 Author Super User Posted August 30, 2007 Okay, Jason.. The tides aren't cooperating with the 1st weekend of the season. We can either go late Friday at 11:30pm or late Saturday (Sunday morning) at 12:30 am. In either case we shouldn't be on the water more than 3 hours so you can still be home in time for a quick nap and up to take the wife to breakfast. Quote
tallydude Posted August 31, 2007 Posted August 31, 2007 I think I can go tonight if you want. Gimme a shout. Quote
GatorBK Posted September 10, 2007 Posted September 10, 2007 Can I enter my girlfriend ? LOL ;D I didnt catch any but she caught her first ever snook Saturday its a 29 incher. Super User Bassn Blvd Posted September 11, 2007 Author Super User Posted September 11, 2007 Man, she a had a great weekend. I Hers is bigger than mine. I went out the 2nd day of the season and got 4 but they were short. I bet that Snook was TASTY....... Quote
GatorBK Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 It was tasty I rate it right with Mahi mahi , we grilled it it was great white flaky meat. I caught everything but a snook :-/ Jacks , bluefish mackeral and snapper . I saw a few oversize snook caught Saturday but Sunday the bite was slower on snook but the reds were going crazy most of them were slot size reds too. That snook was quite a fight she only had 12 lb line and it was trying to get under the pilons under the jetty and the surf was rough everytime a wave came in I held my breath. She is lucky or good or something, her first largemouth bass was over 6 pounds Quote
