island bassin Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 I'm working for a shipping company and one of our underwriters based in Norway has invited us for there annual summer event which this year took place at Haukåsen, situated at 400 meters above sea level on a bluff between Sogndal and Kaupanger in the Sognefjord area of Western Norway. We were lucky having sun all three days of the event. At this time of the year the nights never get dark. A favorite activity at Haukåsen is salmon fishing. They fish them most of the time with fly fishing but when the fish are active they hit spoons and spinners as well. here are some photos of this beautiful place and some of the salmon i cought, this is the one of the three lakes we have fished. Here the fly fishing training took place Quote

FivePoundBluegill Posted June 29, 2007 Posted June 29, 2007 Salmon are the best fish by far to eat. If I were ever to keep a fish it would be a salmon. I always wanted to catch a salmon. Quote
