C.K Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 I was fishing with a 6" Zoom U-Tale SS+ Junebug Worm and I got a huge hit and run. I thought it was about a 3 pound or so bass by the way it was pulling. When I pulled it in, this is what it was. A rather large bream, not sure what the technical name is for them, but if any one knows what it is, I'd like to know. I'm going to have him mounted. It's the biggest one me or my father have ever seen. Quote
GatorBK Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 It looks like what I call a shellcracker bream , its a nice one , congrats Quote
Super User T-rig Posted June 4, 2007 Super User Posted June 4, 2007 That's a big bream! Congrats! Quote
JayW Posted June 4, 2007 Posted June 4, 2007 Yep, that's a Shell Cracker! I've caught some huge ones on plastic worms and lizards. They get bigger than your average Bluegill. Nice fish! Quote
Super User Redlinerobert Posted June 5, 2007 Super User Posted June 5, 2007 Holy smokes that thing is huge! Congrats! Quote
Super User Hookemdown. Posted June 9, 2007 Super User Posted June 9, 2007 Nice fish! But why don't you throw that baby in the fryin' pan and get a replica made... Quote
