adub66 Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I personally use Powerbait!!! I have always been successful with it!!! Quote
Ozarkie Posted April 26, 2007 Posted April 26, 2007 I use Power Bait Eggs mostly but rig them inn four or five stings, also use a #4 Eagle Claw Crappie hook, this allows the fish to be hooked in the mouth mostly. I also use large crank baits, CD-7 Rapalas and even Rattlin Rouges. I catch bigger fish on the Raps and Rouges. Seldom do I miss a week fishing for trout and always catch 25-30 trout releasing most of them. Now that I said that next trip I am due a skunk, lol. Ozarkie Quote

Super User Gatorbassman Posted April 27, 2007 Super User Posted April 27, 2007 The Trout Magnet I was introduced to this little lure about 8 years ago by the owner and inventer of the lure. I was very skeptical when he tried to sell them to me. So he gave me a couple of packs to try out. I took them fishing and just slayed them. I now use them every time I go out. Quote
Floridabassking352 Posted April 29, 2007 Posted April 29, 2007 Nightcrawlers are the best in my opinion. I went up to NC one summer and caught a full seven fish limit (all keepers) in about thirty minutes. The guys using power bait didn't catch anything. Quote
