I am looking into booking a Pike/Walleye fishing trip to Canada in July. I am looking for some good guides/lodges or outfitters that I could book with. Any information would be great. Thanks in advance

I went to Angler Rapids Wilderness Lodge last year in August. Had an excellent time! My best pike was 35" but the best of the weekend we were there was 48". See below link to their website....

I'm envious......wish I could go again this year......have a great time wherever you chose to go!

I've been doing it for a long time and I love it.  There's a big difference, depending on how much you are willing to spend, especially for pike (big pike). So, it all depends.

Give me an idea of your budget and I'll be happy to make some recommendations.

Budget is everything--drive or fly. If you want to go in July you will almost have to fly north of 50 where the pike stay shallow all summer. If you go to the border waters you will find the big toothy critters deep with lock jaw in July. I go the 1st or 2nd week of June to the Canadian side of Rainey Lake on the Border waters with Minnesota (Lake of the Woods is great also) and it is normally GREAT with the Smallie action HOT at that time also. Throw in some Walleyes and you have the makings of a trip of a lifetime.

Good Luck. 8-)

Took my first big northern specific trip last year to Anglers Kingdom in ontario.  Drive in to the landing with  boat and portage to the resort after that.  Caught my trophy, a 45 inch pike.  Good number of big northern and decent amounts of nice walleyes when the northerns aren't ready.  Don't know what location you are going from but check the all canada show schedule for a location and time that might be near you for a large selection of resorts and what they offer.  american plan vs housekeeping, how much time on the road are all things to consider.  Here's the result of a late may trip in 2006.
