wagn Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Picked up some RC cars to play with this winter when I couldn't fish. The best part is that they're waterproof, so no problem using them in the snow and mud. Quote

wagn Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 BLee - They are made by Traxxas. The celtic's one is a slash, and the other one is a Stampede. Fun little trucks, really fast, run on batteries, and pretty durable. The best part for me is painting the bodies, and taking it apart if something does break. Quote
Chad. Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Hey your an sti guy too what do you plan on dropping it in gc? No I blew my motor on a 2002 WRX with a 150XXX miles. I am the original owner. I decided to swap in a JDM STi Spec C motor since it is drop in. I actually bought the motor from Canada. Thats a sweet swap , was your car protuned or modified when it blew up i know 150 ,000 is a lot if it was modified it would be even more impressive. Do you have any other plans for the ej20? Quote
b.Lee Posted April 13, 2010 Author Posted April 13, 2010 150,xxx unmodified for most of its life. Last 50,000 had full turboback and Cobb AP I plan on keeping this motor stock. And tune for 91 octane gas since that is all we have out here. Quote
b.Lee Posted May 19, 2010 Author Posted May 19, 2010 Bought this recently, Shimano Curado 200E7 Quote

For a long time I was paying $$ for camera batteries at Walmart. Local Lowe's started carrying Surefire batts, so it's a little cheaper to run now. Love the brightness. And durability. Working at night, I need reliable light. Used to go through a Mini-Maglite every year. Surefire has been going strong for a long time and has more than paid for itself. Quote
Stasher1 Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 I've bought a bunch of stuff since my last post, but these have come in the past couple weeks... 7'6" 3wt Gremlin Martin MC45 Poorly-made POS, wish I hadn't bought it. Pflueger Medalist 1492 Needed a lightweight setup for harrassing the bluegill and sunnies in the local ponds. Quote
Daniel My Brother Posted May 20, 2010 Posted May 20, 2010 Picked up one of these this morning. Probably get another this afternoon. Quote
