Super User BASSclary Posted September 8, 2010 Super User Posted September 8, 2010 When I was six, Cartoons used to actually be cartoons, not pre-teen drama shows like iCarly and all the other stupid bs shows now-a-days. I miss the angry beavers, rug-rats, Hey Arnold! and the good 'ole stuff :-/ Quote
Super User SoFlaBassAddict Posted September 9, 2010 Super User Posted September 9, 2010 You aren't old enough to know about cool cartoons. Like before they were deemed "too violent" and everything went all Disney. Tom and Jerry used to be awesome. FREAKIN AWESOME!!! Quote
Super User BASSclary Posted September 9, 2010 Super User Posted September 9, 2010 Tom and Jerry used to be one of my favorites. And I remember when cartoons were violent. Looney Tunes was pure gold too! ;D Quote

Super User slonezp Posted September 9, 2010 Super User Posted September 9, 2010 In the early 70's when I was a kid they used to rerun the WW2 cartoons which nowadays would be considered politicaly incorrect. They have also edited the old T&J cartoons, Popeye, Looney Toons, Heykal and Jeykal, Woody Woodpecker, etc to make them politicaly correct. And Tonka Trucks were made out of 100% metal. And all the fun toys were actualy dangerous to play with. Quote

Nine Miler Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Picked up a new engine for my Camaro, 427 BB. Gas mileage sucks, but man is it fun! We should start a Chevy v. Ford poll. It would be right up there with Shimano v. Abu Garcia. I prefer the oval. I just renewed the plates for it after a long hiatus in the garage. Quote
