b.Lee Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 So I am member of others forums, mostly car forums. And they have threads like this that show everyone what there latest purchase was. Rules: Post a picture of what you bought, please do not post if you have no picture. And please keep it clean. Comment, but just don't post I bought this_____. I think this is good and bad for several reasons: 1. It is good because it shows me things I may not have considered or even knew existed before. 2. Sort of an economy booster, to get people to spend money, also could be a really bad thing. 3. I think it is cool seeing neat gadgets or cool toys that are out there. So whatever it may be, whatever you have purchased recently post it up and lets have some fun with this. Even if you are posting your lunch or dinner. If something like this has been tried in the past lets keep this one going! I'll start! My motor in my car blew recently and I bought a JDM Version 8 Subaru STi motor to swap in. 320 BHP, with a twinscroll turbo system. Also bought these shorts, which I am more excited about then the motor. Columbia Angler Board Shorts, There's even a rod holder system to secure your rod, so you can use both hands to change out baits. Pop the top on a cold one with the built-in bottle opener. Multifunctional loops for tools. Quote

preach4bass Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Tomorrow is my birthday, and my wife got me a copy of Noah Webster's 1828 edition of the American Dictionary of the English Language. I've been wanting one for a while, but wouldn't splurge on it, so she was going to surprise me with it tomorrow. But, I saw the package when it arrived, and it said "Webster" on it, so I ripped right in and she caught me kicked back in my recliner reading it today. She didn't get too mad. ;D It's probably the greatest material gift I've ever received. Quote
Fishing Doug Posted April 8, 2010 Posted April 8, 2010 Nice "little" addition Doug, any fish in them ponds? 8-) Thanks, firefightn. Yeah, the ponds are on property we already own and they are stocked (that is the east edge of our original family farm). The river/creek on the north end of the property has a nice channel cat population, too. Should start digging holes for a couple new ponds on the new property once it dries up....assuming it does. Super User firefightn15 Posted April 8, 2010 Super User Posted April 8, 2010 Now I'm jealous Doug, you got a lot to look forward to. preach4bass; I used to keep a dictionary in my bathroom, but whenever company would leave I would discover that pages where always missing....hmmm? Quote
