Super User slonezp Posted March 26, 2011 Super User Posted March 26, 2011 Brainerd native killed Saturday in Puerto Rico Posted: March 23, 2011 - 7:57pm Advertisement Brainerd native Aaron James Dahlberg was among 19 people who were violently killed this past weekend in Puerto Rico, according to a story Tuesday in El Nacional, a newspaper in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Dahlberg, 33, a 1996 Brainerd High School graduate, was living in a house in the urbanized University Gardens in Rio Piedras when he was shot in the upper back and his armpit Saturday while he was on his balcony, according to police. Police said the gunman approached Dahlberg and shot him with a .45 caliber pistol then fled. According to Dahlberg's Facebook page, he currently was working at Purple Desert Services in Phoenix, Ariz., and on Friday he wrote that he was looking into purchasing a condo in Puerto Rico. Quote
