Super User BASSclary Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 Does anybody own one of these ? How do you like it? Apparently electronics like phones, tv, computer, and all that stuff give off negative energy which make us feel bad. And the negative ions the bracelet gives off make us feel good. Anyone ever try one? Want to know what you guys think before I shell out $20 for one. BTW this is the one im looking at : http://www.lacrosse.com/IWCatProductPage.process?Merchant_Id=1&Ne=178&N=4294960691+479&Product_Id=1035268 Quote
hookingem Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 I think it's about as effective as the Banjo Minnow... but It's also one of those things where the placebo effect plays a role. I say buy 20 dollars worth of soft plastics screw the bracelet! Quote
Captain Obvious Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Anyone ever try one? Want to know what you guys think before I shell out $20 for one. Spend it one of these and you'll get positive vibes ever time a bass eats it Quote

Daniel My Brother Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 Bill Engvall used to give people signs...but I suppose this bracelet serves the same purpose. Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 Pyramid power, copper bracelets, ion bracelets, Kevin Trudeau, they all fall into the same category to a cynic like me. If they really worked everyone would have them. Now if you're talking mood rings, those do work, but they have nothing to do with mood. They are temperature sensitive at the range of normal body temps. What they really reveal has everything to do with blood circulation to the fingers. Quote
bigfruits Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 ill tell you what, ill sell you some x-ray glasses at BR discount for $20. PM me if interested. Quote
shootermcbob Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 No, they don't work. Watch the infomercial about how much stronger the magnetic bracelets make you. Notice when the Seller(CROOK) demonstrates w/ people not wearing the bracelet, he pulls their arm AWAY from their body, effectively pulling them off balance. With the bracelet on, he pulls their arm STRAIGHT DOWN and magically they are now stronger and have better balance. It is all about base of support and center of gravity. It has nothing to do with the magnets in the bracelet. As stated by others, spend the 20 bucks on fishing gear. You will get more benefit from that. Quote
Super User Grey Wolf Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 What are you going to do , put it on your ankle sprain ? Quote
Uncle Leo Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 There is something that improves balance even more, next to being young, squats. you do not need a bracelet. Quote
Super User grimlin Posted March 11, 2011 Super User Posted March 11, 2011 Remember the words of P.T. Barnum. They say he never really did say that. But it is my favorite quote in life....so much I thought about getting those words tattooed. Quote

B-Dozer Posted March 11, 2011 Posted March 11, 2011 A lot of people fall for stuff like that. They want to believe something will help. Far worse are the people making false claims knowingly, just to rip people off. Quote
Rangerphil Posted March 12, 2011 Posted March 12, 2011 Spend the money on some 5 hour energy! I started using it while fishing in some small local tournaments last fall. Around 11:00 I drink one and it helps my focus and decision making. It has not paid off yet but I think it will soon I have noticed my fishing success rise late in the day since I started using it!
