farmpond1 Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Farmpond1-because there is nowhere in the world I'd rather fish than a secluded farmpond where there's no one around for miles, the red wing blackbird sing their silver notes, and the fish are always hungry. And because it's the first name I could think of. Quote
Zel Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Last 3 letters of my name... and have allways been addicted to the ellipsis. Quote

Red Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Well mine was originally "TheRedTorpedo" Which is what I called my first boat. It was like a 1952 14' v-hull. My dad got it for me, it had a dent in the side and a hole in the bottom. He pounded out the dent, patched the hole, painted it red and put on a 7.5 hp merc, and The Red Torpedo was born. But some forum deal said I couldn't have my screen name the same as login name so I just shortened it to "Red", which means nothing really. My name is Cliff (Clifford), talk about "hearing it all your life", Clifford the Big Red Dog anyone? ;D Anyway I will say one thing, The Red Torpedo didn't go fast and it wasn't pretty, but it sure did catch alot of smallmouth bass!! ArcticCat500 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 Do you romp around and chainsaw things? LOL lol, naaa....I was getting ready to cut some new trails out back, but the saw is on there more often then not Quote

Titleman Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 I do research on real estate titles for insurance purposes. I go to different courthouses and search the public records for title evidence so as to issue title insurance policies. I've been in the Title Insurance industry for more than 36 years. I surely didn't intend for my username (handle) to imply my level of fishing. Believe me, I'm certainly no where near as good a bass fisherman as that would take. Heck, I've never even entered a tournament and don't belong to any clubs either. I fish with friends and wife occassionally but, most of the time alone. Quite peaceful and thoroughly relaxing. I like this thread. Quote
srv1990 Posted April 16, 2010 Posted April 16, 2010 SRV1990... The SRV is for Stevie Ray Vaughan and 1990 is the year he perished in the helicopter crash after the 2nd of two concerts at the Alpine Valley Music Theatre in Wisconsin. I was fortunate enough to see the first show that weekend, heard the terrible news Monday morning. Quote

Rick isn't even part of my name, Adam Paul. As for the RickRolled part, well, "Never Gonna Give You Up" is an awesome song and I used to love getting RickRolled. Quote
TrippyJai Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 Trippy was a nick name that was given to me by these 2 guys when I was in grade 7. I was a new kid to that elementry school at that time because I've just moved into a new home. Everyone started calling me it and it went on through high school and even now, my friends refer to me as Trips or Trippy. I am chinese so Jai means boy... sort of like Johnny boy in english or in japanese they say son... as in daniel-son from the karate kid. There you go. My name and its probably the first time I've explained it and to people I don't know Btw, Jai is not pronouned Jay, although people who don't know will say it like that. Quote
