stratos 375 Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 It's my boat, the 375 was Stratos's 1984 18' model. Picked it up new at the factory, met Earl Bentz. Rigged with a 200 Mariner, Bob's manual jackplate, Boyesen Reeds, Louvered cowling, worked 26" ProTestor. We didn't have GPS in those days, but it radar'd in the low 70's. She's an old girl now with over 3,000 trips on the hull. It's the love of my life. Quote

SDoolittle Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 While bass fishing is my passion, quail hunting is my addiction. I always have an english pointer and often they become my fishing partner when quail season is closed. One day somebody called me "Bird Dog" and it stuck. Quote

moby bass Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 Moby...after the famous, very large, white whale and bass... after, bass. Quote
brushhoggin Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 "RoLo" stands for Roger & Lois Since 1964, Lois has been my faithful and proficient fishing partner, in both saltwater and freshwater throughout 46 years and 13 boats. Roger sweet Quote
Super User Catt Posted April 13, 2010 Super User Posted April 13, 2010 Catt: Cajun Angler Tournament Tackle I made lures for myself & select Cajun friends who fished tournaments; the smiley face & wink came when customers asked for a certain lure I would smile, wink & say "That's it" in Cajun. When I stopped making lure & my wife wanted to start doing things together online we changed it to catt951 (me) & catt945. So Catt now stands for Carol And Tommy Thibodeaux with the years we were born Quote
shootermcbob Posted April 13, 2010 Posted April 13, 2010 I worked at and shot as a sponsored archer at a small archery shop here in Ohio. A group of young boys came in several years ago and soon became regulars. One of these boys in particular took a liking to me and challenged me frequently to shooting competitions. I always beat him and after about the 50th challenge that I won, he said to me..."you are just a regular ShootermcBob. Bob is my real name and I am not even sure what the rest of it means. the nickname just kinda stuck. Quote

The one that got away Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 "The one that got away" refers to the biggest fish I ever lost, a ridiculously huge Northern pike I hooked Labor Day weekend last year at Lake Champlain in VT. By far the best fish I ever hooked into. My 13yr old was in the boat with me and he learned some new words immediately after I lost the fish. Quote
basskatcher() Posted April 14, 2010 Posted April 14, 2010 I think mine is pretty much self explanatory. The reason for the "()" is because I'm told my public name shouldn't be the same as my id. Quote
b.Lee Posted April 15, 2010 Author Posted April 15, 2010 Do you romp around and chainsaw things? LOL Quote
Joe Boss Posted April 15, 2010 Posted April 15, 2010 Joe because thats my first name, Boss because I am the Operations Manager where I work and everyone calls me "Boss". My signature at the bottom "Caution: there's something fishy about this fella...but its not his odor." is because my buddies laugh that I always wear cologne even when I go fishing. Quote
