B-Dozer Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 why is there a heart nailed to the tree? I was wondering the same thing. Trespassers? Quote
Super User Lund Explorer Posted March 1, 2011 Super User Posted March 1, 2011 A-Jay, that's only two of the puppies. Do you want me to come up and hold the other one? Please! It's really not fair that this old woman that I'm married to only allows me to have one dog while you guys have a whole pack. What kind of crazy thinking is that? If it was up to me, I'd have at least three or four more myself. Just this morning, the local paper included a copy of American Profile magazine. The main story is about the Seavey family and their dogs. Here's to hoping that you can catch up to them! Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 1, 2011 Author Super User Posted March 1, 2011 why is there a heart nailed to the tree? First off, good for you noticing the heart. The answer is I haven't the faintest idea. My wife has shared these photos with our family and on facebook and no one mentioned it. That road we walk the dogs on is nothing more than a 4 mile long two-track dead end in the woods. And the funny thing is there were several of these hearts on trees spread out down the road. It's the reason my wife wanted to stop and photo right there. A little weird. A-Jay Quote

As for the third pup, Cookie-the little black and white female - we re-homed her to a well know malamute show/breeder home in Chicago. She was just to perfect not to be shown and we are not able to do the traveling that goes with it. Cookie has a bright future in the show ring. Besides ever try to take 5 Malamutes to the Vet ? Wow, we did it yesterday and talk about bedlam ! A-Jay Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted March 1, 2011 Author Super User Posted March 1, 2011 A-Jay the pups look great. By the way are you wearing white shoes? Yes I am Dwight, (wise guy 8-) my boots are covered in snow and may be that way for quite some time. The dogs like it a bit more than I. A-Jay Quote
Fat-G Posted March 1, 2011 Posted March 1, 2011 Wow A-Jay, those are gorgeous dogs. Really, really gorgeous. Quote
