did it come with tampons or do you have to buy them separately?

just kidding. I've heard it's good but I don't know how I'd feel about mixing honey with whiskey

In my area, it almost is legal...

Put it this way, for about $100, you can walk into a couple different places to see a so called "Doctor", tell him you have this ache or pain, and you think you need a prescription for marijuana. Bam. They give you a card, and you can then walk into any number of places and buy it, bring it home and smoke it legally.

For me though, I just don't need it. If I could smoke a little here or there, at get togethers, or special occasions, that would be fine. But instead, if I smoke a little, I'll end up smoking it 3 X's a day.... spending money that I don't have to waste, and maybe even worse, wasting valuable time that could be spent fishing, working out, photography, etc.

As I recently said on the health and fitness forum > I don't drink alcohol, because I despise that crap.... I don't smoke pot, because I like it "too much".

Peace,

Fish

BTW, I believe pot is a gateway drug > A gateway, that is, to laziness, junk-food, cartoons, and video games.

I say this only partly joking. I mean, while the above is true, and might be funny to some, it is also a great way to waste valuable time ! And the older I get, the more valuable I find every day of I life that I'm blessed with.

why do these threads always turn into prohibition debates?

I work with plenty of people who smoke weed and they're some of the most skilled, hardest working folks I know.

Lots of hypocrisy surrounding this issue.

sounds good.  i had a nut brown beer that had maple syrup in it.  it was very good, by far the tastiest brew i have yet to try.

It's always the same thing...

1. "I tried this new alcoholic beverage, what do you guys think about it?"

2.  "It's okay, I'll stick to my Bud light"

3.  "Drinking is stupid and anyone who drinks is an idiot."

4. "WEED! WEED! WEED!"

5. "x2 LETS GET SOME WEED!"

6. "Smoking pot is stupid and illegal."

The cycle continues.

Not everyone can manage their time as well as some of the people you know though. I know this one stoner who is pulling above a 3.0 GPA while majoring in Electrical Engineering. Mind you, we're at UIUC, which has a very rigorous Engineering curriculum. Problem is, I seriously wonder sometimes about how much more he could have accomplished if he wasn't spending hours every day getting/being high. He's an incredibly intelligent guy, so he can get away with spending less time than many other students on homework/studying. But imagine how much more he could accomplish if he spent the time he now uses to get/be high on more studying, perhaps some research with professors, etc.

I could never become a stoner. The stuff's not exactly cheap, and I spend way too much money on fishing tackle as is.

Being happy is an accomplishment.  He's probably intelligent enough to have figured that out.   ;)

Just my opinion, but I have a feeling most of the stoners who give weed the rep for causing people to be lazy and unambitious would be exactly the same way without it.....lazy and unambitious.

I know far more people who have had their personality radically altered through the use of anti-depressants, which don't seem to receive ANY negative press - - - despite the fact that all you basically have to do to get them "prescribed" is to ask for them.  (there are some people who do have a real clinical need for them, so don't take me the wrong way)

I agree with this. Benzodiazepines can be incredibly addictive, and SSRI's can make you act crazy as heck.

But hey now, is their any of you who would argue with me, that that the most awesome high one can get, is sticking the hugest fish of your life, landing it, lipping it, and holding it up in front of you > While your heart just about pounds out of your chest ! And your skin just absolutely tingles with adrenalin ! :)

Whooo Hooo ! And then it can last for days, with no harmful side effects + it's legal too !

The perfect high, right ?  :)

Peace,

Fish
