While cleaning her shotgun yesterday, a 12 was shot and killed.  Her dad is a guide here on Ky Lake.

She, her Dad and Grandmother were just in the store yesterday afternoon  :'( :'( :'(

Please keep this family in your prayers...

I sure don't understand life sometimes

I was going to get a pistol but skunked those plans when my grandson was born on December 15.

Now am planning to hide my rifle and ammunition as he grows older so he can't get his hands on them.

Tragic accidents like this one are hard to accept and I never want to be placed in that position with any child.

So sorry for the family and friends.

Losing a child is awful for everyone.

T&P for family.

I agree Deb.  Anytime an accident takes a life its bad, but when it involves a child it becomes even more horrific and defies any logical reasoning.

It just doesn't seem to be enough to offer thoughts and prayers to her family and friends at such a time, and perhaps that is one of the hardest things we all have to face.  I hope that everyone touched by this terrible accident can someday find peace in their hearts.

Devastating for the family.  No parents should ever have to bury their child.

I have four kids.  It tears my heart out to hear another parent forced to deal with this kind of tragedy.  We will be praying for the family.

Having lost my daughter to violence I understand the family's grief. My prayer was sent when I read this sad story. Lord, grant them your strength.
