This is the best sounding Lamborghini EVER. Murcielago R-SV on Lückendorf hill climb.

That's cool.  Even if you get to see one on the street, they never get wound up like that.  Nice to see them DRIVEN.

The street versions never sound like this J.  My car had straight pipes and all 4 cats deleted.  It was LOUD, but not high pitched lke this.  These cars also come equiped with sequential shifters.

I actually wondered about the SGB - you can hear it when it came into a corner.  Racing trans. have come a long way.  When I did driving classes, the cars didn't have synchros - double clutch every downshift.  With your foot, LOL.

What would you estimate the RPM's to be at top end?

MAX torque listed as 660 Nm @ 6,500 rpm, top revs has to be at least 8,000 is my guess.

Funny how in Europe you can stand that close to the "track" with no safety barriers whatsoever.  That's nuts!

Glenn, I believe that is someone's "driveway."

I think it might be the camera making the car sound more high pitched. To me lambo's have always sounded a little more high pitched then other super cars. I think it is because they use a 6 point some thing litter v-12. I do love the sound though. The sound of super cars is better then a beer after a hard week of work.

As for the fans watching so close. You tube rally races and the Baja 1000 videos. The fans are so close they could touch a car as it gos flying by at over 100 mph. That's just not in Europe were that happens.

If its setup for racing, that's what it sounds like.  Its amazing in person.  I'm lucky enough to be a few hours from Watkin's Glen.  If you have the opportunity, check out some sports car races.

Sorry J I have never been to a sports car race. I am surprised I haven't. I only live like a hour and a half from Road America. I plan on going to the ALMS race there this fall.

WOW.  That sound makes even a corvette nut like me go wild.  You should see my 4yr old son's eyes when he watches that vid.  Priceless.

There aint much sweeter than hearing the race exhausts.  I haven't been to Watkin's Glen yet, would love to see a race there.  I try as hard as possible to get to Sebring each year.  I've done the 24 Hours of Le Mans once.  I REALLY want to go see that again.  Unreal.  I don't think there is any place better to go and hang out at the track.  Even the French people are cool around Le Mans.  Just don't insult the Peugeot's.....
