Brent1 Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Anyone ever been to/lived in Montana? I'm taking a trip up there this summer for about 12 days and I was wondering if anyone has any good ideas for things to do and places to see. I really enjoy the outdoors. I won't be able to take my mountain bike with me this time :'( but I'll be packing a few fishing rods. In enjoy a good hike and good scenery. I really anything that can get me off the beaten path a little bit. I like to explore, not just do all the stuff that any other tourist would do. I also really enjoy some good BBQ, so if anyone could point me in the direction of some tasty food I'd appreciate it! We'll be staying near Glacier National Park and we will be making a trip to Yellow stone. Also, if anyone has suggestions for places to go in Utah that would also be appreciated. Quote
Super User cart7t Posted February 7, 2011 Super User Posted February 7, 2011 I know a river runs through it. Also, you can drive like 120mph on the highways and nobody cares. It's also the home state of this young gal on TV named Hannah. It also experiences the seasons of Spring, summer and Fall for a total of like 2 months. The rest of the year it's winter. Quote

Super User Root beer Posted February 7, 2011 Super User Posted February 7, 2011 Just go backpacking in Glacier and Yellowstone. I hope to make it out there next summer when I graduate college. If you can, find a trout fishing guide. Quote
