Super User NorcalBassin Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 Bridges is on a hot streak for sure but tough to beat De Niro for me... can scare the crap out of you or make you wet your pants from laughing. Quote

Super User Tin Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 Some single performances that stand out (no order)... -Christoph Waltz in Inglourious Basterds (made the movie) -Jack Nicholson in The Departed (best character he has ever played ) -Martin Sheen in Apocalypse Now -Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men (creepy as ****) -Ralph Fiennes in Schindler's List (several Schindler Jew's ran out on screenings and would not go on set because he played the character so well) could go on for a while... Super User Jimzee Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 Got to agree on Javier Bardem, one of my favorite movies, no wonder he won an Oscar. It's a tough one for me deciding between DeNiro or Paccino. I really like Anthony Hopkins, Jack Nicholson, Steve Buscemi, and William H. Macy as well. Tough one for sure! :-/ Quote
Super User bassfisherjk Posted February 4, 2011 Super User Posted February 4, 2011 Clint Eastwood. Quote

bassmajor Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 All great actors listed above but I gotta go with Bill Murray. No one funnier when he was in his prime and he really impressed me in Lost in Translation. Quote
bassman31783 Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 I don't necessarily have a favorite actor as much as favorite performances. Here are just a few that I love. Robert Duvall - Open Range Daniel Day Lewis - Gangs of New York Jean Reno - The Professional Ed Harris - Enemy at the Gates Steve Buscemi - Fargo Quote
