Bowhunters. Leupold Vendetta?

Anyone here have any experience with it?  I think my Carbon Matrix needs one.

Umm, other than it being illegal in certain States to use  it is a cool looking bow mounted range finder that adds bulk.  Ask your local pro shop if they mind if you shoot with a it on your bow for a bit and see how you feel about. The Matrix is a beautiful light weight bow and adding that extra off centered weight may not be to your liking.

Stick with a traditional archer rangefinder and you should be fine. Also, in field use it may take a bump.  For target shooting it should be fine though, not sure if tournament bodies allow for its use.

We have had them at the store for a while and every one of them is still there.

Traditional rangefinders are more than adequate, especially if you are stand hunting.  Even if you are not, knowing the distance by vision alone (through practice and repetition) will save you time over both of them.

As far as the unit goes, I mean, it's a Leupold.  Quality is not an issue, but the pros don't outweigh the cons on this one.

Carbon Matrix is a sick bow. What are you shooting for a sight? Last one that really blew me away was the Black Gold Flashpoint with the tiny pins (.10 ?) and it was on a Carbon Element.

If you concerned about ranging your shots, I would recommend hitting the range and doing some unknown distance estimates. I also practice from twice the range I want my ideal shot at.
