Kind of an odd request, I know, but does anybody here know of an aircraft repair forum with a classified section? I've been out of the industry for almost 6 years now (and don't see myself ever going back), so I'd like to get rid of some of my sheet metal tools.

There are lots of things like nutplate jigs, hi-lok ratchets, and hi-lok collar removers that are pretty much limited to aircraft repair.

Unfortunately, the stuff on ebay just doesn't seem to move. The majority of tools like mine listed on ebay seem to close with no bids. That's why I was hoping to find a site kinda like this one with a bunch of A&P and sheetmetal mechanics.

I've asked this question on a few different forums today and I've gotten some PMs about pics and prices, so maybe I can get rid of it piece by piece...so I can feed the baitmonkey. ;D

When I started in the field back in '99, I had to roll through the door with a little over $2k in tools to meet the minimum requirements. I added to that substantially over the 5 years I worked there. It would be really nice to get even a small percentage of that back.  :(

Great suggestion for this place.

Dump the women bass fishing board which gets ZERO traffic and add a aircraft repair forum with a flea market included.

I've got a massive collection of airline peanut snack bags I'd like to try and unload.   ;D
