bass wrangler569 Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I like to change blades on my spinnerbaits based on water clarity and conditions but it is always a pain to swap out the blades. Does anybody have a system that lets them change blades quicker. I was thinking about replacing the swivels with sampo snap-swivels so I could just snap new blades on. Any suggestions? Quote
Super User Munkin Posted July 24, 2008 Super User Posted July 24, 2008 You could just put a snap link between the swivel split ring and the blade? I make my own spinnerbaits and quit changing blades and skirt a long time ago. Allen Quote
The_Natural Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 There have been a few in the past that had that feature. I still have some old Blue Fox spinnerbaits that have a quick-change system. Secret Weapon is the only company today that I know of that makes them. I think most anglers just stock different spinnerbaits for different conditions. Quote
Bassyak Posted July 24, 2008 Posted July 24, 2008 I have several old Terminator T-1 titanium arm SBs that had a quick-change system with a little rubber stopper on the arm that slid up and down to allow the main blade to be swapped out. They even came with a different blade. I haven't seen any of these in awhile, but I don't make it to BPS (where I bought them) very often so I don't know if they're still available. The only ones I've seen recently just come with a couple different skirts to interchange. Quote
