I need computer help fast!

I got blasted with viruses this morning and I'm having trouble fixing the situation. My Trend Micro PC virus remover software will not open, so I downloaded a quick free one from download.com and it will not open either. My window keeps informing me applications cannot be executed because file "tsc.exe" is infected...Then asked if I want to activate another software...How do I get rid of this problem?

run malware bytes and it will remove the infected files from your registry.

if malware bytes won't/can't run, but you can access the internet then you could look up the virus and see what files it creates in your registry and delete them yourself also.

I can't run them. I click to run one of my registry/spyware it won't open. I try to restore some files, but the window will not open. My current antivirus scan, the one I just tried to download, spyware/registry, and backupfiles will not open....Basically anything that could help me fix the problem will not open up... > Now what?

TROJ_PEED.BLK Is the detection name. It's really all I know, I don't know how delete them myself from registry....

Can You restart the computer and boot into safe mode?  I would download Malware bytes, there is a demo in their website and the demo will do what you need.  Boot into safe mode and then run malware bytes.  It should remove everything you have been infected with.  I would also suggest changing your antivirus software.  I have run avast, avg, and avira with great success.  I am currently using the free version on Avira and I love it.  Stopped some maleware on a site I visit frequently that was hacked a couple of days ago.  Lots of others got infected and all I got was a warning screen.

First step --- get off the internet

Reboot your PC into Safe Mode.  You can usually do this by hitting F8 while the system is rebooting, which should bring up a selection menu.  Safe Mode is basically a mode with no networking/internet connectivity.

Once you're in Safe Mode, try to rerun your Virus scanners.  If it doesn't work, try restoring to a recent Windows Restore Point (From the Windows Control Panel)

I'll try the safe mode. I had internet halt during the entire scanning process. Wish me luck. :-/

P.S. I did try restoring computer from control panel with no success, the window would not open..I think the virus really got into my registry and infected anything that could be used to clean and fix computer...

Restore won't help. 

I would suggest going to Start-Run.  Type in CMD, then type in Format C:

You aren't changing the name of the malware, you're changing the name of the .exe file associated with Malwarebytes.  The offending program keys on that file and will block access.

Despite several years of experience dealing with this stuff, I never fail to be amazed at the amount of ignorance that comes with dealing with things like this.

It's not called malware, it is called ransomware.

I can't remember how the IT guy fixed mine exactly, but they are a pain to get rid of.

When I got the virus last year, I got it through an email.

I did this in safe mode and it didn't work. The program did find a trojan doppler and removed it, but I'm still having the attack in normal window..I downloaded the rkill.com version assuming the .exe wouldn't work, but it will not open up in normal window....

So you booted into safe mode and ran malware bytes and it still didn't get rid of the offending file?  I went to that web page that you listed for the malware and those directions are pretty darn good. I would follow them to a T and then see if it takes care of your problem.  Can you confirm that the Antivirus . NET is the problem program?

To answer your other question - you can launch Rkill straight from the flash drive. 

Did you try this in normal boot?

Interesting stuff.  Sometimes the virus can screw up your system so bad that there is nothing you can do other than wipe your drive clean and start over. 

I suggest backing up important files in case you have to take that route.

Nick, I don't know how to do that hack thing, I'll try that tomorrow night when I go home and used my dad's computer to download the program. Antivirus.net is the program. It keeps sending me to their site. I'm using Mozilla and it will try send me to their site using internet explorer and get me to buy the software.....

Okay, I figured out how to do the steps listed in the website. The malwarbyte removed three more items on quick scan. Non of the items it removed said "antivirus.net", but so far on normal window it hasn't pop up. Either it's removed or it just not active because of the internet explorer tool being disable as described in the link. I was able open up my virus scan which I could open up during the malware..So either it fix or it just temporarily disable....

Download malware bytes, then boot into safe mode.  Run malware bytes and it should take care of this all together.  I had to do this a few weeks ago on one if my work PC's that I had let the antivirus software outdate.  I downloaded Malware bytes and then booted into safe, fixed it all.  Then I switched to Avira and it has been good.

I downloaded the same Rkill link you just used (the .com) and launched it from my flash drive with no problem......so I'm not sure what's going on there.

You may not be able to launch RKill in Safe Mode...I've heard that before. I've never tried to launch it from Safe Mode. I just boot up to the normal OS and run it as quickly as I can.....it's always worked for me - - stopping the processes and allowing me to update/run Malewarebytes.

BTW....If you select "Safe Mode with Networking" you will be able to access the internet from Safe Mode.
