Super User deaknh03 Posted January 25, 2011 Super User Posted January 25, 2011 Ok I know it's early, but spring training starts in a couple of weeks, so, who wins the WS this year? Actually, what I meant to say was, who will the Red Sox play and beat in the WS this year? Quote
Uncle Leo Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 This was only started because the Pats are at home. I your wildest dreams how are the Red Sox to get past the White Sox, or the Yanks for that matter? Quote

The bullpens might be a push. Quote
Texasfishingtips Posted January 25, 2011 Posted January 25, 2011 Rangers....last year a team that is richer than some 3rd world countries, was beaten , had their buts kicked by a bunch of rednecks. Clancy W Quote

Super User Dwight Hottle Posted January 26, 2011 Super User Posted January 26, 2011 The Indians are going to win it all. There goes my credibility. Quote
BassThumb Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Reds vs Twins That would be a fun one, but I have my doubts about the Twins getting past an AL East team in the playoffs. Here's my rundown, including seeds. American League: 1. Red Sox 2. Twins 3. Athletics Wild Card: Yankees Odd man out: White Sox, Rangers Red Sox over A's, Yankees upset Twins(again)in ALDS Red Sox over Yankees in ALCS Sox advance to WS. --------------------------------- National League: 1. Phillies 2. Cardinals 3. Rockies WC: Brewers Odd man out: Reds Phillies over Brewers, Rockies upset Cardinals in NLDS Rockies upset Phillies in NLCS Rockies advance to WS. ---------------------------------- Red Sox over Rockies in World Series, just like in 2007. Baker06 Posted January 26, 2011 Posted January 26, 2011 Are you guys serious? The Rays will win it this year. Quote
The one that got away Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 The Phillies look real good on paper right now in the NL. I think the Red Sox will be a bit better than last year, the Yankees will have a slight dropoff, and I think TB will be just as good despite losing a few guys because their farm system is that good. I think the AL representative in the WS, whoever it is, coming out of the AL East. Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 27, 2011 Super User Posted January 27, 2011 AL Playoff Teams... Red Sox Twins Oakland Wild Card = Yankees NL Playoff Teams... Philly St. Louis Colorado Wild Card = San Francisco World Series = Red Sox and Colorado Sox win Quote
Super User J Francho Posted January 27, 2011 Super User Posted January 27, 2011 Did you consult your almighty Kuerig for that prediction? Quote
Super User Tin Posted January 27, 2011 Super User Posted January 27, 2011 Did you consult your almighty Kuerig for that prediction? Don't be mad because you know your Yankees won't be getting past the Red Sox. I think I'm going to buy a Toronto hat because I'm getting sick of both the Red Sox and Yankees just buying up whoever they want. I was actually mad when they signed Crawford, but if they didn't another AL team would have. Quote
1inStripes Posted January 27, 2011 Posted January 27, 2011 I can send you a Braves hat so you can cheer for a former Boston team. Or Burleytog could curse you with a Cubs hat. Quote
