Hamby Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I'm looking forward to BEGINNING my career so i can fish more often. Currently planning to major in secondary education. Gonna move south too, of course. Eventually, it'd be nice to do some sort of guide service too. That would help offset the cost of having so much free time. Or some other part time job in a fishing related environment would keep me busy enough. Quote
Carrington Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 congrats, im about to start in 3-5 years depending on how far i go up in degrees. I actually cant wait to get out into the field and build rockets. Quote
WdyCrankbait Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Great news! I am so jealous as well, post those pictures if you start catching some really big bass! Quote
Triton21 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I will be retired 30 years on the 18th of next month. I have fished and hunted my butt off and enjoyed every minute of it. Kelley Quote
=Matt 5.0= Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I don't expect to make it to retirement, so I fish hard and often now while I can still get out of bed. Good luck with your endeavors. Quote
Quillback Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I retired last May, but did some contract work this winter. Early spring bassin is just around the corner, can't wait! Quote
Super User Bassn Blvd Posted January 24, 2011 Super User Posted January 24, 2011 I can go in 1 3/4 years but I'll stick out another 5-6. That'll give me 28-29 long, but good years. Unless our new governor restructures our state retirement plan >. Quote
Super User eyedabassman Posted January 26, 2011 Author Super User Posted January 26, 2011 I just want to thank all of you for your kind words and for wishing me well.
